Ariah's favorite things: Bracelets: anything that resembles a bracelet she will put on and often has them stacked up to her elbow. Babies: both real and not. She loves to hug and kiss them and tell them where all their body parts are. She loves to attempt to hold real babies and begs to hold them over and over. She also likes to steal their binky and then put it back in. (yes we have made babies cry over that one) Chocolate: really who doesn't!? Dancing: her best performances so far are to "Once there was a snowman","The wheels on the bus", "popcorn popping" (she begs for that one) and recently "Ring around the rosies" Boots: She has some awesome pink cowgirl boots she begs to have on every day. She wears them with anything and everything and at times with nothing else on. I have a feeling that obsession is going to carry into her new heels.
First time at the dentist! She was very shy but once they mentioned balloons and toys she ran off after the girl and left me in the dust. (she also walked in on some other patients procedures but that was on my watch... oops!)
First time with the flu! She had the stomach flu for 3 days. It was terrible. She hated the mess it made and would freak out until it was all cleaned up (screaming "EWWW, YUCKY, EWW!!!", it was a miserable time but I loved that she wanted to cuddle a lot!
Ariah calls me by my first name to get my attention. "Mom, mommy, Leena, LEENA!!"
She got her head stuck in the railing at Christmas. Poor thing was panicking and Landon and I are laughing. We tried and tired to pull her head through then I had this bright idea that her head is way bigger than the rest of her body so why don't we shove her through? It worked and I'm pretty sure that is how she got there in the first place.
She tooted in the tub and made some bubbles, she spent the next five minuets trying to figure out where they came from. She would lean to the side and try to see under her bum while lifting a cheek, then she would stand up and contort around to try to see her bum and I'm sure if she would have figured it out we would have had a jacuzzi going on in there.
She likes to look for toe jam and yell EWW when she finds some.
She is just as busy, crazy, and sassy as ever but I have loved her being big enough to be able to express her needs and play so interactively. I love my crazy girl!
