Bear Lake
Once a year we have sort of a Stone family reunion in Bear Lake. We start the count down for next year the day we leave. I was pretty sad I forgot my camera so there are no pictures this year. We had a blast sleeping in tents, cooking on the fire and especially spending time in the lake. For those of you that have never been to Bear Lake it is beautiful. The lake is about as blue as any beach in Hawaii. I think that if any tourist is suspicious that we drive our tractors to school and they saw Bear Lake they would know we are all hicks! The reason I say this is because the lake has a very gradual slope, by the time you backed a boat in you are quite a few yards from dry land and your truck would sink in the sand. Thus you have to use a tractor to back a boat in. There are tractors surrounding the entire lake which just cracks me up. We boated and I got to wake board and boy am I sore! Landon also wake boarded and Kamber and Emily put in some really good fights to get on top of the water. We all got some sort of sunburn but came home with nice tans! It was a great weekend full of lots of memories.

Exhale...
So another semester over... breathe out. So many things to catch up on while we have the time. Work on house, study for my board exam, read the Host and Breaking Dawn, find some time for us then start school again. It seems like a never ending story of our lives. Wake up, work at school, work at work, work at home, go to bed repeat. We have had a fun weekend with no worries; it is so nice not to have to think about what is due for class every hour. We are so jealous of all those grads out there but find encouragement that someday it will be us and then we can move on to real life. But for now and forever it is just the same old wake up, work hard, go to bed, repeat. Just that never ending story of life.

Sparkly
So Landon gave me the best birthday present ever! It was a few weeks early but I was too excited! He let me get my teeth laser whitened! It took 1 1/2 hours but the results are pretty good. I am lightened three shades which is not a huge difference but enough to make me smile bigger! Thanks Landon you are the best!

Joys:
1- Playing with Landon. That’s right I said play! We love to wrestle and joke and just be silly a lot of the time. Hardly a day goes by that we have not laughed with each other.
2- Spending time with friends and family. I have been so lucky this year that my whole family has been together at least twice already and bits and pieces of us more than that. I love being with them! We have also made a few friends as a couple which are the best friends ever. They are few but they are lots of fun and we feel so comfortable around them. We will be so sad when they all leave us in Rexburg alone.
3- Having yummy dinner. Lately we just scrounge for food but it is so nice to have something fixed and know that there are leftovers for the next few days.
Fears:
1- This is a downer but my biggest fear is that Landon will leave for work and never come back. I call him every time I hear an ambulance and make sure that he is okay.
2- Snakes and worms. Eww I get chills just thinking about them. I think I am seriously phobic about worms because if I see them, just see them, there is no seeing me outside any more. Seriously, that is why all my plants are in pots with potting soil. EWWW and when it rains and they are all out and it smells like worms I have to watch every step so I don’t touch them when I can’t avoid going outside.
3- Water. When I am in a body of water and I can’t touch the bottom we are in big trouble. I had to re-take all the swimming levels of lessons once and barely passed the one where you learn the breast stroke. I was like the 12 year old in the 3 year old class. I am for sure a sinker.
Goals:
1- To finish school before we have a baby. I have just about 9 months left of school so I am almost in the clear, but Landon has about 2 years so we will see if we can hold off that long.
2- We want to be out of debt other than our house and school debts by the end of this year. So far not so good.
3- Some day I will cook dinner at least 3 nights a week! I know Landon will love when that happens!
Current Obsessions:
1- All my accounts on the internet. Blog, facebook, email, you name it. Landon hates it because I banish him to the laptop while I use the desk top
2- Avoiding homework, it is pretty much what I do all day and hey look! that is why I am typing this!
3- Fitting into my skinny jeans. I try them on every day, I am to the point where I can get them on and do them up, it’s moving in them that is the problem.
4- We love going to the movies when our bank accounts will allow. Our favorites being Iron Man, Hulk, and on DVD Pride and Prejudice, She’s the Man, Transformers.
Surprising Facts:
1- I could eat Nacho Cheese Doritos’s every day and still love them! If I am ever sad they are the pick me up I need!
2- Landon and I have moved 4 times within our first year married. Trust me it is so nice to be in a place more than three months!
3- We are in the Nursery in church and have been for about 6 months or more. At first it was scary, then it was fun, now it is getting kind of old. There are usually more than 15 kids each week to about 3 teachers. We do not know anyone in the ward other than the other teachers, which I might add have a very fast turnover rate so Landon and I have been in there the longest by far. We have to ask everyone if they have a kid in nursery to see if we have heard of them before or remember their faces when they pick up their kids.
Tag, You're It! Anyone is welcome. Heidi that means you! I think all of my friends have been tagged before!

Fun for the Fouth
Friday

We went to the parade. Landon and I decided to ride our bikes to avoid traffic but we just added lots of embarrassment in my book. Landon almost crashed into me because I stopped fast when a car was backing up very close to us, then Landon cut me off big time and I hit him, and last we were riding to our destination and a kid ran past me, then turned around and jumped back in my way... there went the third slam on my brakes and this time it was right on the parade route so I'm sure countless people saw that one.
Then Landon Justin Ashley and I went to Porter park and got the yummiest crepes! They had Nutella and ice cream they were so yummy!
Then out to my parents for lunch and play. Jamie brought their huge inflatable slide so we played tag with the kids and the adults. I think the adults had more fun than anyone else. Then we saw the Rexburg fireworks with Shane and Stephanie.
Saturday
Shane's family and Justin and Ashley and her parents and I went to Rigby lake that morning. We took the sail boat, the raft, and some tubes. Shane, me and Lily got in the raft and paddled around. The wind was blowing so the sail boat containing Justin and Ashley cruised past us. Before we knew it Shane and I were beached on the other side with the wind not letting up. The sailors came and picked us up for a while and we made a train and floated around but the wind was still strong so I opted to walk around the lake and get the truck to pick up the raft. After that we made sand castles.
Then back home for the reception. It turned out so pretty in the yard and it was fun to see family and friends. Then Shane and Steph took us to Hulk for my birthday. It was a lot of fun.

A Stinky Situation
Things for us are pretty boring sometimes, and we are usually glad for some excitement. Well we got some weird excitement last night. It was quite the event for us, it included comedy, adrenaline, and the cops. So I was making dinner and waiting for Landon to get home when I heard what I thought was knocking on the door. I pulled the curtain aside and there was no one there. I opened the door and peeked out and all I noticed was that Landon put some rocks on the porch to hold down a flower pot base so it wouldn't blow away(so I thought). Well time passed I forgot about the rocks and Landon came home around 7:20 and went to his study group @ 7:30. When he got home he asked me what was on the rocks on the porch. I was confused so we went out to look and there was poop all over the rocks and it was hot outside so it was very stinky! We were grossed out but it was pretty funny that it happened so we laughed a little. Landon went and threw the rocks in the weeds behind our house.
Later that night. 9:45ish Landon forgot something at Sears so he went out to the car and when he touched the handle on the other side... Surprise! more poop. This time smeared on the handle and on the door. It was not so funny this time and we had a suspicion who it was... the only clue being the neighbors have a dog and a few kids under 12 who were sleeping out on the tramp. We were not sure what to do and didn't want anymore damages so I called the police. They sent out a officer who asked questions and checked out the house at about 11:45. He said that they would cruise the street a lot through the night and to call again if it happened again. Well, I think the cop sure scared the little buggers because no poop today so far.
