Ariah at 14 months

Oh our little monkey is growing so fast! She is getting taller and more lean all the time. She is starting to lose baby fat on her face and now that her hair is getting longer she is starting to look more and more like a girl not a baby. She even looks way older than these pictures taken for her first birthday!

Newest skills: She loves to climb in and out of any chair, stroller, you name it she is trying to climb it. She is starting to be able to really run fast. I can't believe the things I say and she understands. I tell her to go get her shoes and sure enough she comes back with a shoe. I tell her to put her toys away and she will do that too but then as she is putting them away she remembers that it is more fun to have them out so she takes them back out if I don't catch her.

Newest words: She is getting really good at some words. She repeats just about everything you say but some words she has down. Her most used word is "ice?" it is used for juice, outside, bite, mine, slide, or any other word that might sound like it. But to our dismay..... this word also sounds like potty language if you don't know what she is taking about. Her other words are "Hiiiiii" to everyone in public and it is loudest during sacrament when other people come in late. and "Hi daddy" "puppy" "auh duuuh?" (all done) She also knows a puppy says "Woof" and a snake says "sssss" and a pig says "hawk a loogy noise" She also thinks that every animal is a puppy and will "woof" at them.

Favorite things to play: She loves to carry around her baby doll, play with her little people farm but her all time favorite is to play outside. If the door is even open a crack she will throw it open and take off as fast as she can hoping I don't catch her and bring her back in.

She definitely loves her dad more than anything!

And we love her more than anything!
