School: I am taking 6 classes that add up to 14 credits this semester to graduate before baby comes (We still have not decided on spelling her name the latest is Ariya but changes depending on the day). I really thought that this semester would be a lot of fun and I would be able to slack off with a Pastry class and a Fabric class but I was soooo mistaken! It think that this semester requires more work than any of my others. It is midterm week next week so I am struggling to make sure everything is caught up in my classes before then. On average I do homework from 6-10:30 or later every night and I am still behind in about 3 out of the 6 classes. Oh what a joy it will be to graduate with my Bach and be done!!! They are analyzing all my classes right now and I should know this week if I have met all the requirements to graduate in April. (approx 4 weeks before baby comes, please let her keep her buns in the oven until then!)
Work: then after school I work mon-thurs until about 5:30 depending on the Dr's schedule. It really is not a lot of hours but it is perfect with the hours I have school. We are still trying to work out what we will do after the baby is born.
Home: this is the crazy part. I am what my mom calls 'nesting' which is both very good and very bad. I think as of right now I have a list of about 10 things to do and on average I take 3 off a week and add about 4 more. Poor poor Landon enjoys the house being clean but does not enjoy the fact that his 'honey do' list is just as long. Needless to say I like to take over his projects because I think he has only done 1-2 after much nagging and I just want things done. Landon also had to deal with a nasty pregnant woman break down because I had just spent all day deep cleaning the house and within the first hour he was home from work it looked worse than it was when I started. (a lot of it was my stuff I had left out throughout the day) He helped me clean it all up in a few minuets and then explained that cleaning the house was always going to be a constant process. Yeah, yeah I know but you don't tell a pregnant, nesting, hungry woman that!
Pregnancy: Things have been going so good. I have a few bouts of nausea a week, mostly in the morning. The worst was in an early temple session with my mom.... I was going to be sick and was sitting in the middle of a very crowded row. I was coughing and sputtering to keep the contents in my stomach because I had no idea which way to find a bathroom or trash can. Then the sweet elderly ladies all simultaneously offered me cough drops, I thanked them and declined their offer. Nothing worse than puking menthol, it burns, yet has a refreshing coolness! :) I made it through the session after the contents of my stomach re-organized with the help of a few gag sessions. I am a little over 27 weeks now and baby is growing and moving all the time. It is so fun to have her move so much but sometimes she gives me a surprising kick and I jump.
Well that was a lot more than I intended but I hope that will satisfy for a little while!
