October 27th we celebrated our two year anniversary. It was not a huge celebration since we both had class in the morning and I had work until 5:30 but it was great! Landon bought me some very pretty flowers and made some yummy dinner and we just hung out together all night and did not worry about homework. It was so nice. We have always felt so lucky to have each other because we get a long really well. We have had a lot of fun in our first two years and are looking forward to forever.
October 27th is another special day. It's grandpa Jack's birthday! This year he turned 81. Most of the Stone family was able to get together to celebrate but none of us knew what surprise was coming. Jack is a retired air force col. He has led a very exciting life in the air flying spy planes. He is off the record the fastest man in flight. Well, last year we had a big celebration for his 80th and John Bagley, Grandpa's good friend arranged to have a few planes fly over the party. It was amazing. But this year John topped himself, he took grandpa for a ride one of his planes! This meant so much to us, the last time grandpa flew was with John just days before he was diagnosed with Parkinson's years ago. It was such a fun time for all of us!

it goes by soooo fast! It is so fun though. What would we do without our husbands??
