Well this week has been a crazy one that is for sure. But there has been a lot of fun too.
To start the week off I had a very inconspicuous blond moment. I was walking up the stairs to class, and you know how when you miss one stair the rest are kinda off too? Well on the fourth 1/2 a trip on a stair I full out splattered on the stairs. Luckily there were no other people in the stairwell when it happened but after the ruckus a few observers popped in. I got a nice crack to the patella and some, ever attractive, black bruises covering my knee. (Sigh) the curse of the blond.
Then I had no idea what to make for dinner when a stomach growl and a revelation hit. Tin foil dinners! I looked though our goods to see what I could come up with. Since we didn't have any hamburger I got creative and used thick chili. Then some potatoes, carrots, celery, and cream of mushroom soup. I was worried because honestly that does not sound like a good combo. I put them on the grill and botta bing yummy tin foil dinners somehow came out!
Then a visit to my friends at Options was in order. There is a 4 year old boy there that doesn't really talk and I was trying to teach him his body parts and sang 'Head shoulders knees and toes' to him all the time before I left. He never sang along but he really liked the song. His staff today told me that he sings it to himself all the time, which is a big thing for him to say all the words when his vocab is so limited! The words are not 100% clear but they are there! Yay!
Kris being a stud. Again not a talker but he said cheese for the camera! This is for you Heidi:

Give Trent a big kiss & hug and tell him I will come visit him next week. And tell him I love the message! He makes me so happy.
when i can't think of anything for dinner i bust out the tinfoil dinners. Needless to say they probably make an appearance at our house like once a week.. oh well! Is it lame that i think they are so delicious?
